as an alternative solution to these segments several interventions are proposed:
-the outline of surface of square is enclosed by a slightly raised ramp, which clearly separates it from the park
-the space of park is considered as a self sufficient area with its own logic and transitional pathways
-open areas adjacent to opera house are given special significance, to identify their usability
-the pedestrian pathway between square and northern avenue are emphasized with raised permeable ramp
-all mentioned open and emphasised areas should be considered as stage/audience spaces of different typologies, where different performance acts can happen, such as concerts, theatrical plays, dance, rhetoric speeches and etc
as a result of this interventions the theatrical square will gain back its ceremonial appearance, it will be an additional stimulation for creating new performance acts and cultural events by the newly created piazzettas, the park will be returned back to citizens as a green walkway, and the opera house will signify its importance.
